SHIPPING AND HANDLING

Shipping costs are included for all items at avthinginitsplace.com when shipping within the continental United States.  "Included" simply means that our listed price includes the cost of shipping, which is non-refundable in the case of a returned item or refused delivery. There are no additional handling charges on orders shipped within the continental US.
Orders are processed within 24 hours. In-stock items ship within 2-4 business days after order is processed.
(Please note that all items made by WOOD TECHNOLOGY take up to 14 ADDITIONAL days to ship from the warehouse due to the custom made-to-order nature of their products).

Products are shipped to your door via UPS (United Parcel Service), Fed Ex or DHL Ground Service, so please allow 7-14 business days transit time.
Please note that these delivery carriers do not deliver to PO Box or APO/FPO addresses.   *Most CD Wallets are shipped via United States Postal Service within 24 hours after receipt of order.   We ship from warehouses in New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, California and Canada.

The above time estimates are based on average shipments bound within the continental United States. Shipment delays may be caused by holidays, weekends, severe weather conditions, and other factors beyond our control for which we will not be held responsible.   Shipment notifications with shipment tracking numbers are e-mailed to you once your order has shipped.  You can also check the status of your order at any time using our online order tracking system.

Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and Canada please contact us for shipping quotes.

SALES TAX:

Sales Tax of 8.625% will only be collected for orders shipping to addresses within New York State.

 

RETURNS

We aim for complete customer satisfaction. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, we want to hear about it.    If you receive an item damaged or a defective item you must contact us at onceDo not refuse the shipment! We will make the arrangements with the delivery company for pickup and return of the damaged item.
We will send out replacement parts or a new (same) item depending on the damage. Damage claims will not be accepted after 10 days of receiving item.

If you wish to return a product, you are required to contact us for a return authorization number. Your refund cannot be processed without a valid return authorization number.
You may return an item within 20 days of delivery for a refund. A twenty-five dollar restocking fee applies to each item (only on items over $49.95 retail price) returned.
If you are not satisfied with your merchandise, you may return it with the following conditions:
  • You must obtain a valid RA# from us for the return prior to sending the merchandise back.
  • The merchandise must be in new condition, have no missing parts, and be returned in its original packaging. Products that require assembly and have been partially or completely assembled, cannot be returned.
  • Merchandise is returned at the customer's expense. This also includes any restocking fees.
  • The original shipping and handling charges, which are included in the quoted prices of our products, will be deducted from the authorized refund.
  • You must notify us of the return shipment tracking number so we can follow up on the return and have your refund processed in a timely manner.
Once an order has been accepted by us it may not be possible to cancel the order before it is shipped, should you change your mind. If you find yourself in this situation, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to cancel your order. But please be aware that some restocking charges may apply on the unshipped order. If an order is already in transit, we cannot cancel that order. The delivered merchandise may be returned under our return policy described above. If you refuse a delivery, the original shipping charges, return shipping charges, and any restocking fees will be deducted from the authorized refund.
